The service

Every personal tax matter, handled in-house

Personal tax is more than the annual return. It is the property you inherited, the shares you sold, the pension you drew — and the choices you make now that will show up on next year's return.

Our personal tax team looks after around 260 individual clients across South Wales, from PAYE-only high earners to landlords with substantial portfolios and non-UK-domiciled clients with international affairs.

FAQ

Common questions

What does a self-assessment return cost?

Straightforward returns start at £199 all-in. More complex returns — with rental portfolios, capital gains or non-dom pages — are quoted as a fixed fee at the discovery call, before any work begins.

When is the self-assessment deadline?

Online returns for the 2025/26 tax year must be filed by 31 January 2027. We ask clients to send us their information by 30 November to guarantee a comfortable filing window.

Can you help if HMRC opens an enquiry?

Yes — HMRC investigations and enquiries are a specialism. We handle correspondence on your behalf, prepare disclosures where needed and can act as your Tax Investigation Service adviser.

Do you deal with capital gains on property?

Yes. UK residential property disposals need a CGT return within 60 days of completion — we handle those alongside your annual self-assessment, with all reliefs (PPR, letting relief where available) properly claimed.
